Jeff Rum, Founder + CEO
An award-winning digital strategist, educator and public speaker, Jeff Rum has nearly 15 years experience in digital strategy, branding, and marketing.
Jeff served as a digital consultant with The White House, United Nations Foundation, Human Rights Campaign and the Elizabeth Edwards Foundation. During his tenure at SPARK, Jeff also led digital campaigns and special projects with Pepsi, AAA, National Mining Association, and Johns Hopkins Medicine.
Profiled in SmartCEO Magazine and an online panelist for CMSWire, Jeff has been a featured speaker on digital marketing at regional and national conferences including Social Media Week. He regularly guest lectures at The George Washington University’s School of Business on topics including digital marketing and social media strategy.
Jeff published his first book, Post with Purpose: A Digital Strategy Handbook in 2018.
Jeff received his BA from American University in Communication: Visual Media and Jewish Studies. He received his MA from Georgetown University in International Studies. He resides in Bethesda, MD with his wife Jessica and three children, Eva, Maxim, and Ori.
Sarah sicherman, managing director
A passionate marketing professional, Sarah has spent over 10 years working with startups, nonprofit organizations, and small businesses.
Prior to joining Ignite, Sarah served as Assistant Director of Marketing at The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington. She managed a team of designers, marketing professionals, and consultants.
Sarah has experience leading projects including brand and messaging development, website design, as well as digital campaigns and initiatives.
Her role at Ignite includes project management, development, and managing partner relationships. Sarah also manages membership at Ignite Academy, a year-round educational institute in the areas of digital marketing and communication.
Sarah's greatest strengths are her creativity, ability to problem solve, and leadership skills, which she looks forward to bringing to the Ignite team.
Sarah received her B.S. in Sociology from Goucher College and resides in Silver Spring, MD with her husband, Jon and three children, Shimmy, Kayla, and Haddie.
Adina Moses, Graphic Designer
Adina Moses is a graphic designer with more than 13 years of experience in both the non-profit and for-profit markets. She has worked on a wide range of print, web, and digital projects, and is passionate about presenting visual messages in a clear, attractive, and engaging way.
Prior to joining Ignite, Adina worked as an in-house graphic designer for an educational institution while managing her own freelance business, serving a diverse range of clients from start-ups to established small businesses and non-profit organizations.
Adina received her BA from Rutgers University in Visual Arts with a graphic design concentration. She resides in Silver Spring, MD, with her husband, Daniel, and their four children, Tuvia, Tzipora, Yehuda, and Shayna.
Margaret Aldredge, Digital Analyst
Analysis of interactions is a passion of Margaret’s. Her career began in the field of archaeology with the study and interpretation of the past but soon shifted to the modern digital world. Finding and effectively communicating information is an important aspect of her role with Ignite.
Prior to working with Ignite, Margaret worked as a User Experience Researcher with a focus on working with Information Architecture at SPARK Experience, a user experience (UX) research and design agency in Bethesda, Maryland. While there she worked on projects with AAA, CPG, the FCC, Nielsen, and numerous non profit groups.
Margaret received her BA from St Mary’s College of Maryland in Sociology/Anthropology: Archaeology and a certificate in graphic design from Howard Community College. She resides in Redlands, California with her husband Brad, daughter Coraline, dog Oz, and cats Eric the cat and Cat5e.
